| Basking shark sightings increase in UK |
Sightings of Britain’s largest fish, the basking shark, have increased in recent weeks in UK waters, according to the Marine Conservation Society (MCS).
Forty sharks have so far been reported around the coast. The most are off Devon and Cornwall but they have also been spotted in Scottish and Irish waters. Indeed this sighting was caught on camera by photographer Craig Whalley off the coast of the Isle of Mann.
